Today, we began the Middle Ages by reviewing the Fall of Rome and Government before Feudalism. Through the process, we worked on writing effective summaries and reviewed the "Known" world (Roman Empire). To sum up the fall of Rome, check out the crash course video below and make sure to finish your 3-2-1 for Homework. To further apply the themes to real world events, we viewed clips from the movie, "Beyond the Gates." The students had to complete a dialectical journal throughout. We will begin the Middle Ages on Tuesday.

Following yesterday's discussion of the 5 themes, we are going to apply these themes to a country of our choice. While working in groups, we will identify the themes within a specific country. Make sure to complete your part for homework.
